art-direction, graphic design, event staging
Upon turning 25, I threw a big party for my golden birthday. It all started with the number. I envisioned how a mark could look with a uniquely designed 2 and 5, which turned into foil-stamped invitations and a black-tie affair. The party pamphlet led guests through a game, and introduced them to Help-Portrait, asking for a donation. Using custom icons, drink menus communicated what each drink would be served in. I styled my parents' house with mid-century modern furniture and decor I have collected over the years. "A little party never killed nobody," right?
